Have you ever turned around as you felt someone was looking at you? Have you ever thought of someone just seconds before finding that person in the middle of nowhere? Have you ever had a feeling that something was going to happen?
Explaining this in a scientific way is way too difficult for me, and even for science itself. Some experts dedicate their lives to solving why we sometimes get some information before it actually happens.
It’s not the purpose of this blog to discuss the meaning of life or magic, but it is my aim to let you know that whatever mysterious thing it is, we can use it in our own benefit.
It is wonderful how a baby can learn a language, as they learn the concepts of words naturally simply by speaking. We can always point a dog and make babies repeat the word. That’s obvious, but how did we learn something as abstract as hate? justice? pride?
That means our brains figured out the meaning of abstract terms just by listening to them and gaining experience in the situations in which they were used.
Learn a second language
Everybody is mad about translating in second language classes. It seems that a translated word is the key to learn, but it’s not.
The key to learn a language is to understand the concepts using only the language we’re learning. Unless you do it like that, you won’t really learn but just memorize concepts.
So you can let yourself go in the middle of the nonsense that a second language offers you while immerse in it, and get relaxed. You know we can get stressed when we do this, but we can also get over it.
The magic zone
We’ve talked about the magic zone previously, which is that zone in which you don’t know what’s going to happen. I strongly recommend you to see a language learning process like that, something you don’t know what to expect from… but something funny!
When we get relaxed is when we learn the most, so just take it easy and never ever stop doing it! There’s something magic about the way we learnt to talk, it’s a miracle… and it can happen again!
